This case study covers more than six years of accounting and HR administration for Bolt, an international company whose services in Ukraine include e-scooter rentals. The UHY Prostir team assists in organizing day-to-day accounting processes, maintaining HR documents and preparing for new service launches.
The task: keeping pace with the company's growth
The development of several business lines with different transaction logic increased the load on accounting, document workflow and payroll. The processes needed uniform rules, a clear division of responsibility and control points.
The goal of our cooperation was to make the financial and HR processes predictable and ready for the company's growth.
How we organized the accounting processes
The UHY Prostir team drew up internal rules for key accounting operations and set up control procedures:
- a calendar for closing accounting periods;
- checks on the completeness of documents and the procedure for their approval;
- coordination of the document workflow between departments;
- assistance in preparing payment documents and communication with the responsible participants in the process.
This helped align the sequence of actions and deadlines between the accounting function and the business teams.
HR records and administration
We standardized HR document templates and streamlined the procedures for hiring, transfers and termination of employment.
We keep the HR registers up to date and advise the team on employment procedures and compliance with the relevant requirements.
Assistance with launching new services
When new services were being prepared, we defined the participants' roles, the interaction procedure and control points. We reviewed contractual and accounting scenarios and assisted with the launch within the agreed tasks.
This approach helped agree in advance how new operations would be reflected in documents and accounting records.
Results of our cooperation
The company gained orderly accounting and HR processes with defined rules, deadlines and responsible persons.
For the team, this means:
- a transparent procedure for processing and approving documents;
- control over daily operations and the closing of accounting periods;
- consistent documentation of staff changes;
- coordinated interaction between the accounting function and business units;
- accounting processes ready for the launch of new services.
